Content Policy

This Content Policy governs all content submitted, uploaded, distributed, or made available through Ludeo platform primarily available at https://ludeo.com/ ("Platform") by developers, studios, and publishers ("Developer"). By accessing the Platform, Developer agrees to comply with this Policy, which may be updated from time to time. Ludeo reserves the right to remove, restrict, or suspend access to any content or account that violates this Policy, in its sole discretion and without prior notice.
1. Prohibited Content
The following categories of content are strictly prohibited on the Platform. Developers are solely responsible for ensuring that all content they publish complies with each of the restrictions set forth below.
1.1 Sexual and Adult Content
Ludeo does not permit pornographic, sexually explicit, or graphic sexual content of any kind on the Platform.
- Nudity presented in a sexual context
- Depictions of sexual acts, whether animated, rendered, or otherwise
- Content designed to solicit sexual activity
Content featuring partial nudity or mature themes in a non-sexual context (e.g., combat games with stylized violence) may be permitted subject to appropriate age-gating and platform ratings compliance. Developers are responsible for ensuring their content complies with applicable age-rating requirements issued by recognized rating authorities, including the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) in North America, Pan European Game Information (PEGI) in Europe, or the relevant rating authority in any other territory in which the content is made available.
1.2 Hate Speech and Discrimination
Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites hatred or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics is strictly prohibited.
- Symbols, imagery, or language associated with hate groups or extremist ideologies
- Content that dehumanizes people based on protected characteristics
- Slurs used in a harassing or targeted manner
Satire, historical commentary, and educational content that references these topics without promoting them may be permitted at Ludeo’s sole discretion.
1.3 Violence and Graphic Content
Ludeo hosts game content and recognizes that gameplay inherently involves combat and conflict. However, the following are prohibited:
- Content that depicts real-world violence against specific identifiable individuals, religious groups, ethnic communities, or other identifiable groups or communities
- Gratuitous torture, gore, or dismemberment presented for shock value with no gameplay context
- Content that glorifies, promotes, or instructs real-world violence, terrorism, or mass harm
Stylized in-game violence consistent with the applicable game’s rating and genre is permitted.
1.4 Harassment and Threats
Content that targets, harasses, intimidates, or threatens specific individuals is prohibited, including:
- Doxxing or sharing private personal information without consent
- Content designed to coordinate harassment campaigns against any person, religious groups, ethnic communities, or other identifiable groups or communities
- Credible threats of physical harm
1.5 Child Safety
Ludeo has a zero-tolerance policy for any content that sexualizes minors in any way.
- Any depiction of minors in sexual situations, regardless of whether the content is animated, rendered, or photographic
- Content designed to groom, exploit, or facilitate access to minors
Violations will be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) responsible for combating the exploitation and abuse of minors in the applicable jurisdiction, relevant law enforcement agencies, and local police authorities.
1.6 Dangerous and Harmful Content
The following are prohibited:
- Content that provides instructions for creating, assembling, or deploying weapons capable of mass harm, including explosives, firearms, chemical, biological, or radiological weapons
- Content that promotes, encourages, glorifies, or provides instructions for self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Content that promotes, normalizes, or provides instructions for the use of illegal drugs, controlled substances, or dangerous substances in a manner likely to cause harm to the user or others
- Content that promotes, instructs, or facilitates dangerous physical challenges, stunts, or activities likely to result in serious injury or death
- Content that promotes, glorifies, or provides tactical or operational guidance for terrorist acts, mass shootings, or coordinated attacks against civilian targets
- Content that facilitates or encourages human trafficking, forced labor, or any form of modern slavery
- Content that promotes or instructs the abuse, neglect, or harm of animals
1.7 Misinformation and Deceptive Content
- Content that materially misrepresents gameplay, features, performance, or user experience of the applicable game
- Content designed to deceive end users about the nature, source, or sponsorship of a Ludeo
- Content that spreads health misinformation or that could endanger public safety
1.8 Intellectual Property
- Developers represent that they own or have licensed all content incorporated in any Ludeo published to the Platform
- Developers may not publish Ludeos that incorporate third-party copyrighted material without appropriate authorization
- Ludeo complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Copyright holders may submit takedown notices to legal@ludeo.com ROB WE SHOULD COMPLY WITH THIS ACT- MAKING SURE THAT THIS IS THE CASE AND THAT WE HAVE A TAKE DOWN PROCESS.
1.9 Privacy and Data
- Publishing content that reveals private personal information about identifiable individuals without their consent is prohibited
- Ludeos may not be used to collect, transmit, or expose personal data of end users beyond what is authorized under the Platform’s data architecture and the applicable law.
- Developers must ensure that any third-party SDKs, plugins, or tools integrated into their content comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA, and must obtain all necessary user consents prior to any collection or processing of personal data
1.10 Spam and Platform Manipulation
- Creating duplicate or misleading Ludeos designed to game discovery or recommendations is prohibited
- Using automated tools to artificially inflate engagement metrics is prohibited
- Making false, misleading, or deceptive representations regarding game content, features, or functionality in any store listing or marketing material is prohibited
- Employing dark patterns designed to mislead end users into unintended purchases or actions is prohibited
1.11 Monetization and Payments
- Developers may not offer gambling, loot boxes, or randomized reward mechanics without compliant disclosure and, where required by applicable law, age-gating ROB PLEASE CONFIRM THAT THIS IS RELEVANT- I THINK IT IS
- Developers must comply with all applicable consumer protection laws relating to in-app purchases, subscriptions, and virtual currencies
- Developers must not publish content that violates the rules or standards set forth by Ludeo’s payment processors, card networks, or banking partners. Ludeo reserves the right to remove content that jeopardizes its payment infrastructure without prior notice
1.12 Artificial Intelligence
- Developers must disclose the use of AI-generated content within their Ludeos where required by Platform guidelines or applicable law
- Developers may not incorporate live-generated AI content capable of producing material that violates any provision of this Policy
- Developers may not use AI or automated tools to scrape, mine, replicate, reverse engineer, or otherwise process Platform content or Developer Content belonging to third parties without express written authorization
2. Content Standards
All content submitted to the Platform must:
- Accurately represent the game’s actual features, gameplay, and content in all store listings and marketing materials
- Include appropriate content ratings from a recognized rating body (ESRB, PEGI, or equivalent)
- Properly disclose in-game purchases, subscription mechanics, and virtual currencies
- Comply with applicable age-rating requirements for the territories in which the content is made available
3. Developer Responsibilities
Developers are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring all content submitted to the Platform complies with this Policy and all applicable laws in every territory in which the content is made available
- Obtaining all necessary licenses, clearances, and consents for any third-party content incorporated into their games
- Promptly updating or removing content that no longer complies with this Policy
- Ensuring that any third-party SDKs including Ludeo’s, plugins, or tools integrated into Developer content comply with this Policy
4. Enforcement
In response to Policy violations, Ludeo may take any action it find appropriate at its sole discretion, including but not limited, the following:
- Removal of the violating content without notice
- Restriction or suspension of publishing privileges
- Termination of the Developer’s account and access to the Platform
- Withholding or offsetting payments in connection with verified Policy violations
- Reporting to applicable law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law
Where practicable, at its sole and absolute discretion, Ludeo will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide Developer with notice and an opportunity to cure prior to taking enforcement action, except where the violation poses an immediate risk to End Users, the Platform, or third parties. Ludeo’s enforcement decisions are final. Developers may contact legal@ludeo.com to dispute a decision within thirty (30) days of receiving notice of such action.
5. Reporting Violations
To report content that violates this Policy, contact legal@ludeo.com.
6. Updates to this Policy
Ludeo may update this Policy at any time. Developers will be notified of material changes with at least fifteen (15) days’ advance notice. Continued use of the Platform following such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
